Its 2009 and Tatro Racing is at it like there is a week before the season starts.   "We have been at it as a crew once a week for some time now, however, the car gets daily attention from Engine Builder Pat Dutcher and Owner Lance Tatro".  

"We have made it our personal task to look into every detail of the car" Tatro said.  Because the car had only ran spottily throughout the last several years the crew has extensively rebuilt the whole car, down to every bolt being replaced and every hose clamp replaced and polished.  The brakes have all been serviced or replaced, and every part of every part has been looked at, serviced and reassembled. "We just want to know that everything is in order, so at least we will eliminate any neglected areas."  Hill said.  "At least we know we are putting our best foot forward".

At this point, most of the major stuff is done, and many of the minor things are complete too. Stick the mag, run the valves, fluids and put the body on..oh and set the car up and were are close to all of these.

The body is 90% complete, it reflects a typical Tatro paint job and is detailed with striping by Cycle Arts.  At this point Dicky (Cycle Arts) is doing the numbers and sponsors and then we are ready to clear the rest of the body. 
 
With the new 2009 Madera Schedule out, the team knows what the deadlines are.  They are currently working on getting the car ready for a photo shoot, and then the season.  Included are some updated photos.
